Hello my name is Kira and I tutor biology, english and chemistry! My favorite activities are reading, playing my cello and watching tv. I am currently a junior in high school and my favorite subject is probably English. My goal is to attend a state university, get my master’s and be a speech pathologist.

Hi! My name is Erynne and I am a sophomore at the University of Florida pursuing a double major in Microbiology and Zoology. I’ve been dancing for several years, and serve on the executive boards of two dance groups at UF! I’m also a part of our Microbiology club, where we do various outreach activities with kids. My parents immigrated from Ethiopia a year before I was born and they have taught me everything from the language, Amharic, to the history. Hi, my name is Flor and I was born in Guatemala, but moved to the United States over 20 years ago. Coming to the United States was not easy, however, I had a little bit of advantage because I had gone to college and graduated with a ESOL degree. It was helpful to know the language but I soon realized I had much to learn. I met my husband at Carin University where I graduated with a Master's degree in Educational Leadership and Administration. Ever since my oldest son was born over 16 years ago, my priority has been to be home and raise him and his brother.  I have had opportunities to tutor both English and Spanish, and I have done other part times job as time has allowed. My teaching experience mostly comes from teaching high school in Guatemala, but also I have been a home educator for over 6 years. I currently live in Leesbug, FL, with my husband, two teen boys, two cats, a dog, and a few chickens. I am excited about the opportunity to help those who are struggling with their English. I hope I can serve, help and encourage those in need.
